We believe the monuments of a place are the people who live there. We are interested in the the back alleys, corner cafes, family markets and street vendors. The vacant and crumbling building is a story. We want to see photographs that tell us how you live and where you go.
We have nothing against the Eiffel Tower, but we are more interested in the graffiti tag on the north west foot than the tip preening over the city.
New Location
Hello everyone.
We have moved homepages to www.thisiswhatsthere.com/places/ as part of a move to emphasize writing. I appreciate your support in the early days of this concept! This relocation strengthens the concept with some growth strategies to make sure it doesn't become idle again.
